A תלמיד חכם and an עם הארץ were having a big fight, when the עם הארץ asked someone to bring him a בבא בתרא. The onlookers were surprised. What does this עם הארץ want with a בבא בתרא? They quickly found out. He took the גמרא and knocked it over the head of the תלמיד חכם. “I may be an עם הארץ,” he said, “but I know that בבא בתרא is the largest and heaviest מסכת.”
