Two friends were talking and one of them gave great praise to their רב. “The רב has the מידות of הקדוש ברוך הוא, of משה רבינו, and of Aristotle,” he said. “You’re exaggerating,” his friend replied. “It’s no exaggeration,” he responded. “Just as the רבונו של עולם has no דמות הגוף, so too the רב doesn’t. And like משה רבינו, the רב is כבד פה. And just as Aristotle didn’t know anything about ש״ס and פוסקים, neither does our רב.”
