An אפיקורוס got into a debate with a ירא שמים and said: “The תורה says that בלעם’s donkey opened its mouth and spoke like a human. Do you really believe that a donkey could speak like a human?” The ירא שמים responded: “Sure. Why not? If humans like you can speak like a donkey, there are donkeys who can speak like humans.״
