A seaman taking a test for certification as a ship captain was asked: “What would you do if you were far out at sea and a monster storm approached from the North?” The seaman answered: “I would immediately drop an anchor and stabilize the ship.” “And what would you do if right afterwards a monster storm approached from the South?” he was asked. “I’d drop another anchor,” he said. “Okay,” the examiner said. “But what would you do if by freak of nature another storm hit from the East?” Without losing his cool, the seaman replied: “I would drop a third anchor.” Frustrated by the responses, the examiner asked “And from where would you bring all these anchors?” “No problem,” the young man answered. “From the same place that you bring all the storms.”
