Akiva made a killing in Manhattan real estate. He had never been to Israel and decided to fly there with his wife on their private jet. He asked his personal assistant to make the arrangements. She called the Tel Aviv Hilton and told them that Akiva and his wife would be coming and she needed to reserve the entire top floor for them. No problem, she was told. She then asked if the hotel had a private beach. “Yes, we do,” she was told. She then asked “What color is the sand?” “It’s a light brown,” was the reply. “That’s a problem,” she said. “My boss always demands that the sand be golden brown.” “For a price, we can accommodate that,” she was told. “There is one more thing,” Akiva’s personal assistant added, “the sky has to be clear blue, with no clouds in sight.” Even to this, the hotel responded that it would be expensive but could be arranged. “We’ll have the clouds seeded and dispersed.” Three weeks later, as Akiva and his wife were enjoying the beach; he turned to her and said “Isn’t it wonderful? We have privacy, golden brown sand and a blue sky without a single cloud. With all of this, who needs money?”
