Passing by a pet store, Shimon thought he heard parrots speaking Hebrew. He went into the store and sure enough, they were discussing that week’s parsha. “Wow,” he said, “how much are these parrots?” The salesman said; “This one is $10,000. He knows all of Tanach. The other one is $20,000. He knows all of ש״ס.” “Wow,” said Shimon, “how about that one over there?” “That one is the most expensive,” the salesman responded, “$50,000.” Impressed, Shimon asked what that parrot knows. “I don’t know,” responded the salesman, “but the other two call him Rebbe.”
