Late one evening, two men found a gold ring. This one said that he saw it first and that one said that he saw it first. After a bit of arguing they agreed that whoever had the better dream that night would get to keep the ring. The following morning, one of them asked his friend what he dreamt. “I had a beautiful dream,” he said. “I saw an eagle with long wings standing beside me. I sat on its back and it spread its wings and flew heavenward. It kept going until it brought me to גן עדן.” His friend said: “Amazing! That’s what I dreamt about you. So I figured that if you’re in גן עדן, you don’t have any use for the ring. I made a קנין on it and took it for myself.”
