A man sat down in a movie theater and noticed that the woman in front of him had brought along her dog and it was sitting in the seat next to her. The movie started and soon there was a funny part. The dog made woofing sounds which sounded like laughter. A little while later, there was a sad part and the dog seemed to be weeping. As this continued throughout the film, the man was astounded. When the lights went back on, he said to the dog owner: “I know this sounds wierd, but it seems that your dog really understood and enjoyed the movie.” The woman nodded. “I know. It really is wierd because he absolutely hated the book.”
