On a flight over the Pacific, Bella and Asher heard a loud noise followed by the voice of the Captain telling the passengers to fasten their seatbelts tightly and prepare for an emergency landing. “Please do not panic,” the Captain said. “Our engines have blown, but the good news is that I will be able to land. I see an uncharted island large enough to set down the plane. The bad news, however, is that the island doesn’t appear on any map and it may be a long time, if ever, until we are found.” Asher turned to Bella and asked “Did you remember to pay our life insurance premiums?” “Yes, dear,” she replied. ”Did you pay our pledge to the Yeshiva?” he asked. “No, sorry, I forgot,” she answered. With a sigh of relief, Asher exclaimed “Boruch Hashem! They will track us down much sooner than the Captain thinks.”
