The גמרא teaches עין תחת עין is ממון. The Gaon of Vilna observed that the word תחת is instructive and suggests looking at the letters under the עין. The פ is under (תחת) the letter ע. The כ is under the letter י. The ס is under the letter נ. Together, they spell כסף.
