When רבי מרדכי גימפל grew old, he made aliyah. He went to Rishon L’Zion and saw its new buildings. His face brightened and he declared that upon seeing the land inhabited one must bless ברוך מציב גבול אלמנה, Blessed is He who establishes the boundary of the widow.
