The wife of a רב was very מחמירה in all of the particulars of מצוות בין אדם למקום but nevertheless constantly picked on and harassed her husband. Once, during a nasty argument, the רב said to her: “You know, a man who is מדקדק במצוות is called a חסיד. A woman who is מדקדק במצוות is called a חסידה; yet, no matter how מדקדק a חסידה is, she is still טמא.”
