The wife of רבי ישעיה׳לה of Prague was a very difficult woman. She made her husband’s life miserable. One day, when his father in law came to visit, the רב complained to him that his daughter would look for every opportunity to denigrate him, calling him a פושע-ישראל, and the like. The father in law confronted his daughter, who denied everything and angrily said “Are you going to believe that משומד?”
