Today’s דף states that לא מתו נדב ואביהוא אלא על שלא היה להם בנים.  What connection is there between their deaths and their not having sons?  פרשת אחרי מות begins by saying that השם spoke to משה רבינו אחרי מות שני בני אהרן בקרבתם לפני השם וימותו.  Thus, the אור החיים noted, the פסוק refers to death twice, once with reference to מיתת כל אדם and once with reference to מיתה מחמת דביקות בהקדוש ברוך הוא.  It is said that the דביקות of ר׳ יחיאל מיכל מזלאטשוב to the רבונו של עולם was so powerful that at times his sons had to literally shake him out of it so that his נשמה shouldn’t depart from his body.  The דביקות of נדב ואביהוא was surely even more powerful, but because they did not have sons to guard over them and stir them out of their דביקות their נשמות departed וימות.  Appreciate your children.
