Rabbi Gross was recovering from surgery at a Catholic hospital.  One afternoon, a nurse walked into his room and noticed that the cross had been removed from the wall.  “What happened to the cross?” she asked the Rabbi.  “I figured one suffering Jew in this room is enough,” answered the Rabbi.
