R’ נפתלי מרופשיץ was praying שמונה עשרה on יום כיפור bent over. The man behind him placed his סידור on his back and prayed על חטא, על חטא. When he completed his תפילה, the רב turned to the man behind him and said: “You sinned. And you’re seeking forgiveness on account of my broad shoulders?”
