יומא-מו

After years of waiting, a prominent family finally had a son.  The parents very much wanted to know whether the child would grow up to be a תלמיד חכם or a businessman, so they decided to give him the מבחן משה רבינו, who was tested by פרעה with the burning coal and royal crown.   They placed a ספר in one edge of the child’s crib and a checkbook in another edge to see which one he would grab.  To their surprise, he took both.  “Great,” the father said, “It looks like he’s going to be a ראש ישיבה.”
