A רב was once asked “How do we know that the day that נח planted a כרם was פורים?” He responded: “It’s a פסוק מפורש במגילה. It says “ונוח בארבעה-עשר בו ועשה אותו יום משתה – ואין משתה אלא מנטיעת כרם.” But, the questioner objected, everywhere in the תורה the name נח is written חסר, without the ו, while here it’s written מלא, with the ו. “Yes,” the רב responded. “This is to teach us שבפורים נוח הוא מלא.”
