A wealthy miser who was very sick needed to see a specialist. He was appalled, however, that the world-renowned doctor charged $500 for the first visit and $250 for subsequent visits. Still, it was his health that was at stake. So he went to the doctor’s office and cordially said: “Well, Doctor. Good to see you. Here I am, again.” The doctor had met this type before. He made a great show of examining the patient with minute thoroughness, then said, “Just continue the same treatment as before!”
