In a דרשה one שבת, the רב told his קהילה that one day the רבונו של עולם was looking down on earth and saw all the evil that was going on. So He sent an angel to check it out. Upon his return, the angel reported that mankind was indeed sinning and that only about ten percent of the people were good. The רבונו של עולם thought about it for a moment and decided to email the good ten per cent with words of praise and encouragement. “Do you know what the email said?” he asked the congregants. None of them responded. “So,” he said, “Its apparent that none of you received the email.”
