Shimon and Leah were an elderly couple who had retired to Miami Beach. One morning, as Shimon was heading out the door, Leah asked him if he could get her ice cream. “Sure, what would you like?” he responded. “A chocolate cone,” she said. “But please write it down, so you don’t forget.” “I won’t forget,” he assured her. “But I’d like it with some sprinkles,” she said. “I think you better write it down, so you don’t forget.” Again, Shimon assured her his memory is fine. There was no need for him to write it down. An hour later, Shimon returned carrying a bag. Handing it to Leah, he said “Honey, here’s the vegetable sushi you wanted.” Leah opened the bag and said: “You see, I told you to write it down. Where are the chop sticks and soy sauce?”
