Two elderly couples were taking a walk, the men in front and the women slightly behind. One of the men turned to his friend and said “You know, my wife and I went to a wonderful restaurant last night. The food, the ambience and the service were all great.” “What’s the name of the restaurant?” his friend asked. The first man was thinking about it and was having difficulty remembering. “You know,” he said, “I’m getting old. My memory just isn’t what it was. You’ll have to help me out. What’s the name of that red flower with the thorny stem, you know, the one that husbands give their wives to show their love?” “You mean a rose?” his friend replies. “Yes, that’s it. Thanks,” he says and turns around to his wife and asks “Hey, Rose! What’s the name of the restaurant we went to last night?”
