A Jew walking along a country road in Israel went into a field, took a few figs from a tree, sat himself down and began to eat them. A רב passing by asked him what he was doing; the תורה says לא תגנוב. The Jew replied: “What a land of milk and honey! Here I am sitting under a tree, eating some figs for free and at the same time getting to hear a דבר תורה.”
