As זאב וולף was enjoying a glass of wine in a Jerusalem restaurant, a drunk came in and boasted that he’s a גלגול of a certain צדיק. It seemed to be in good humor at first, but when the drunk began harassing him, זאב וולף got up to leave. “You didn’t finish your wine,” the drunk said. זאב וולף, in a play on the words in סוטה ב, that כל הרואה סוטה בקלקולה יזיר עצמו מיין, replied: חז״ל אמרו כל הרואה שוטה בגלגלו יזיר עצמו מיין.
