A chicken was asked: “If you could choose, where would you prefer to live?” The chicken answered: “In a village in China. The chickens run free there, lay their eggs in the field, and the people are vegetarian.” A cow was asked the same question and answered: “In India. The cows there are holy. They wash in the river, go where they want, and aren’t taken to slaughter.” A חמור was asked the question and answered: “In Israel. Israel is a free and democratic country, where any חמור can be elected to the Knesset and even be Prime Minister.”
