In מסכת סוטה it states: ארבעים יום קודם יצירת הולד מכריזין בת פלוני לפלוני. Only the daughter’s father is mentioned. That’s me. בן פלוני לפלוני isn’t mentioned. Thus, it’s clear that my name was mentioned in שמים and yours wasn’t.”
