After a horrible argument, Jack and Alice were giving each other the silent treatment.  That night Jack remembered that he needed to get up at 5:00am the next morning to catch a flight.  He wanted to have his wife wake him, so he simply handed her a note saying “please wake me at 5:00am.”  The next morning he awoke, only to discover that it was 6:30 and he missed his flight. Furious, he wanted to confront his wife when he noticed a piece of paper on his night table. It said: “It’s 5:00am. Wake up.”
