A חסיד שוטה came to his רבי and said: “I dreamt that my grandfather demanded that I go search for the עשרת השבטים and I want to ask רבי to give me a letter of recommendation to all the קהילות near and far.” The רבי instructed him to return the next day. He then asked the שמש to write the letter, stating that the חסיד is searching for the ten lost tribes, for the צנצנת המן and for the קבר of משה רבינו. Surprised, the שמש said but it’s written that לא ידע איש קבורתו. The רבי responded: “Yes. It’s written איש, to exclude a בהמה.”
