Esther was a frum woman but in stressful times she would visit a gypsy fortuneteller.  From time to time, she would urge her husband Shaul to join her, but he always refused.  One day, she assured him that the fortuneteller would be able to reach out into the world to come and have him speak with his long departed zayde.  Shaul couldn’t resist the possibility of once again speaking with his beloved zayde.  He went to the fortuneteller, who did her mumbo jumbo and in a trance-like state produced a raspy voice which said “Shaul, Shaul.  This is your zayde.”   Taken aback, Shaul said: “Zayde, I miss you so much.  How is the world to come?”  “I’m in Heaven,” his zayde’s voice responded.  “That’s so good to hear,” said Shaul.  “But zayde, when did you learn to speak English?”
