A רב who went from town to town collecting for a צדקה was particularly disappointed in one town which had many wealthy inhabitants.  “I learned something from the people of this town,” he said.  “Here, it’s permissible to drink חלב עקו״ם.”  Surprised, the townspeople asked him to explain.  “The reason חלב עקו״ם is prohibited is because of a concern that perhaps the milk of pigs was mixed into the milk.  But in this town, as I have seen, the pigs don’t let themselves be milked, so there is no such concern.”
