“רבי,” a man said to the רב of his town. “I’ve failed. I gave my daughter in marriage to a no good man.” “What’s no good about him?” the רב asked. Sighing, the man responded: “He doesn’t know how to play cards.” Surprised, the רב asked: “That’s a חיסרון? You should be glad that he doesn’t know how to play cards.״ The man replied: “I would have to say that the רבי is of course right. But the problem is…he plays.”
