A man asked his friend how he got cured from his cough. “I went to the doctor,” the friend said, “and he gave me a laxative.” “A laxative?” the man replied. “What does a laxative have to do with a cough?” The friend answered: “I don’t know. But since I’ve begun taking the laxative I’m afraid to cough.”
