At every siyum, we say the Hadran, which contains the names of Rav Pappa’s ten sons. Yet, as we go through ש״ס, we see Rami bar Pappa, Rafram bar Pappa, with the others hardly ever mentioned. Why do they all appear in the Hadran? The answer is that a siyum is always accompanied by a seuda. And when a seuda is served, everyone shows up.
