During קריאת התורה on the שבת immediately after פסח an עם-הארץ banged on the table and called out לא לקרוא מפטיר. Surprised, people asked why. The עם-הארץ explained: “It’s a דין מפורש in the הגדה: אין מפטירים אחר הפסח.”
