In his שבת הגדול דרשה, a רב spoke about the סוגיא which deals with טעם כעיקר.  Among the listeners was a prominent member of the community who tried to understand the דרשה but didn’t have a clue what it was about, except for the fact that the רב several times mentioned טעם.  After the speech, one of the congregants mentioned to the רב that this prominent person had said that he enjoyed the דרשה but didn’t understand why the רב repeatedly mentioned the תם but didn’t even once mention the other sons of the הגדה.  “It’s a fair question,” the רב responded. “After all, we see that the שאינו יודע לשאול is one of the honored members of our קהילה.”
