When רבי צבי הירש of דזיטשוב visited the חוזה of לובלין, he asked him for a loan for the expenses of his trip back home. The חוזה gave him the loan and said “Now you belong to me, as is written: עבד לווה לאיש מלוה, a borrower is a slave to a lender.” רבי צבי הירש responded: “Actually, the opposite is true. Because as our חכמים said in tomorrow’s daf הקונה עבד עברי כקונה אדון לעצמו.”
