A priest, an imam and a rabbi were discussing how they manage to make a living from the salaries they are paid. “I can’t get by from what the church pays,” the priest said. “I add to my income by drawing a circle in the center of the church and throwing the money in the charity plate up towards Heaven. Whatever falls in the circle is for me and the rest is for the church.” The imam went next: “I do something similar. But whatever falls in the circle is for the mosque and whatever falls outside it is for me.” Finally, the rabbi spoke: “I don’t draw any circles,” he said. “I take all of the money and throw it up towards Heaven and say to G-d ‘take as much as you want’ and whatever falls down is for me.”
