שבת-ו

A young boy asked the רב of his Shul if he could speak with him for a few minutes.  The רב said: “Sure.  What do you want to talk about?”  The boy told him that he was interested in becoming a רב.  “What I want to know,” he said, “is besides giving a 10 minute דרשה on שבת morning, what else do you do for the Shul the rest of the week?”  The רב exploded in anger.  “You don’t want to be a רב, you want to be a Shul President!”
