The מגיד of דובנה once went to see the גר״א מווילנא.  As the מגיד entered, still exhausted from his journey, the גר״א greeted him warmly and asked to hear a משל.  The מגיד immediately began to relate a parable of a man who came home from the market with a milking עז.  But when his wife tried to milk it, it didn’t produce even a drop.  “Don’t worry,” her husband said.  “She will produce plenty of milk, but she’s tired and needs to be given food and drink and then you will have all the milk you want.”
