In חדר, the boys were learning פרשת בחוקותי. They learned that רש״י says on ונתתי גשמים בעיתם that ה׳ gave the rain בשעה שאין דרך בני אדם לצאת, כגון בלילי רביעית ובלילי שבתות. One of the boys asked why isn’t it the custom of people to go out on those nights? The מלמד gave him a dirty look and said: “Its obvious, people don’t want to go outside when it’s raining.”
