People were surprised when a man who wasn’t שומר מצוות came to the בית כנסת. Two of his acquaintances welcomed him and asked what brings him to Shul. “I need to say קדיש for my father,” the man explained. One of the acquaintances said to the other: “This is what the חכמים had in mind when they said תפילות אבות תיקנום.”
