A woman went into the kitchen and saw that her husband was running around with a fly swatter in his hand. “What are you doing?” she asked.  “I’m swatting flies,” he said.  “How many did you get?” she asked.  “Five,” he answered, “two males and three females.”  Surprised, she asked him how he knew their gender.  “Two were on the beer can and three were on the telephone.”
