A man was sitting at a bar just looking at his drink.  This went on for half an hour.  Then, a big trouble-making truck driver sat down next to him, took the man’s drink and gulped it down.   When the poor man began crying, the truck driver said: “Sorry, I was just joking.  Here, let me buy you another drink.”   “No, it’s not that,” the man said, drying his tears.  “This has been the worst day of my life.   First, I overslept and was late to work.  My boss told me I’m fired.  Then, when I went to my car, I found out it was stolen.  The police said there was nothing they could do.  When I got home, my wife said she was leaving me.  That’s when I came to this bar and just as I was ready to put an end to my life, you come and drink the poison.”
