The Palestinian Authority issued its first postage stamp. It featured a picture of Abu Maazen. But the postal officials were troubled when the stamps kept falling off of the envelopes. Abu Maazen asked his assistant to investigate why the stamps wouldn’t stick. A few days later, his assistant informed him: “I figured out the problem. People are spitting on the wrong side of the stamp.”
