An elderly Jew who was on his deathbed asked his children to summon a priest because he wanted to convert. Naturally, the children were shocked that their father, who had always been an observant Jew, would make such a request. They thought he had lost his marbles. “Why would you do such a thing?” they asked. “Better one of them should die,” he responded.
