ערובין-פה

A ישיבה בחור came late to תפילה.  When the משגיח asked him why he was late, he said he was sorry, but it was a one time event.  The “one time event” repeated itself the next day and the boy gave the same apology and same assurance that it was a one time event.  The משגיח wouldn’t have it. “You can’t use that excuse twice,” he said.   “Why not?” the ישיבה בחור asked.  “We drink from a paper cup more than once.”  “Yes,” the משגיח answered, “but then we throw it out.”
