A woman came to a רב and complained that her husband wasn’t putting on Teffillin. The רב rebuked the husband and asked what was going on. How could he not wear Teffillin? The husband responded: “Yes, רבי, I know I should put on Teffillin. But who am I to take sides in the dispute between two giants, רש״י and רבנו תם? I’m waiting for them to resolve the issue.”
