A Jew was asked by a גוי why non-Jews go with ראש מגולה and at most wear a hat for certain occasions, while Jews wear both a כיפה and a hat.  The Jew explained:  “Your heads focus on secular matters, which flow like water.  And bottles of water are either not covered or if covered are covered with a cork.  But our heads are filled with תורת קדוש, which is like aged wine and a bottle of aged wine is doubly covered, with both a cork and a seal.”
