Many years ago, a Jew who made Aliyah from Europe, built a business in ארץ ישראל, only to see it fail.  Having lost his money, he decided to return to Europe.  רבי יהודה נבון told him that it was a person like him that the חכמים had in mind when they said יש לך אדם שממונו חביב עליו מגופו.  “Why do you say that?” the man asked.  רבי יהודה answered: “There are people whose גוף is important to them, so they come to ארץ ישראל to be buried in its holy soil.  But you, having buried your money בארץ, are content to have your גוף buried בחוץ לארץ.”
