An innkeeper and his wife had a full complement of guests for פסח and were so busy that they hardly had the opportunity to sit down for the סדר. When they got to the מכות, the wife told her husband that she needs to go to the kitchen to make sure that the staff had the meal ready to be served. The husband told her she could go and he’ll spill the drops of wine for her. And so he did:דם לי, דם לאשתי; צפרדע לי, צפרדע לאשתי; כינים לי, כנים לאשתי….
